Namushasha Lodge Near the West Caprivi Game Park - Namibia
Namushasha Lodge lies on the banks of the Kwando river and offers the visitor a unique experience in Namibia's subtropical Caprivi region. Here you can relax and enjoy a part of unspoilt Africa. Enjoy boat trips and fishing, as well as bird watching (over 400 species recorded), guided game drives, and walks. Photograph animals rare to Namibia such as hippo, sable antelope, lechwe, tsessebe and buffalo to name a few, or "feel" the wild African night on our spotlit night boat or vehicle rides, observing crocodiles and nocturnal animals at close quarters. Namushasha Lodge offers fifteen en-suite bungalows, each fitted with mosquito nets and each with its own toilet and shower. The lodge also has a small pool, bar, sundowner deck and table d¹hôte restaurant. Directions Namushasha Lodge is 20 kms from the Kongola tarred road, 430 kms by road from Rundu, 140 kms from Katima Mulilo, and 280 kms from Victoria Falls. The lodge has its own landing strip (co-ordinates S 17.59 E 23.17) and can be reached in 3 hours flight (by Cessna 210) from Windhoek. Air Namibia flies to central Caprivi daily.
