SAM’S GIARDINO
Sam’s Giardino prides itself on embodying Swiss charisma in Namibia, and provides a casually-relaxed experience, aiming at unencumbered enjoyment. The establishment promotes zeitgeist, fun, and freedom in an easy-going way. The Giardino’s outward appearance blends in with the characteristic architectural style of Swakopmund’s historical buildings. In addition, consideration was also given to ecological impact, making this one of the most eco-friendly guest establishments in Namibia. The inside of the Giardino is light and airy, and the attention to detail continues in the bedrooms where cuddly down-feather duvets keep guests warm even on the chilliest of nights when fog moves in from the ocean. Each room has a small lounge area with two wicker-chairs, a table, and a selection of travel magazines. Other conveniences include a hair dryer, as well as a mirror, direct-dial telephone, power points for local and European plugs, a wall-fitted electrical heater, individually controlled bed-side lamps and a bathroom en-suite equipped with shower, hand basin and toilet. Rooms have either double beds or twin beds.
Although the garden is a green oasis in which guests can linger and relax in the warm sun, the real heart of the Giardino is the Enoteca Wine Restaurant, which is complemented by the Bistro and the cosy Grotto.
