Tiras Mountains Conservancy
This 12500ha conservancy is situated on the edge of the Namib Desert, between Sossusvlei and the Fish River Canyon. The conservancy is a coalition of farms that aim t preserve the harash, yet beautiful and fragile, natural environment, while at the same time providing facilities for tourists. Each member of the conservancy provides different facilities. The camp sites are situated amidst red granite rocks, and chalets are also available. Tiras offers rock paintings, bird and game viewing, and a quiver tree forest. Most important however is the tranquil environment which will allow you to relax away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Facilities Chalets Camp sites

Directions The units in the conservancy can either be reached from road D407 or D707 off the C13/C14 road. They are in the centre of a northern section of the Tiras Mountains.
